- To foster community pride in litter free neighbourhoods.
- An organizing focus for litter pick-up campaigns.
- To spread the word that litter is bad for the environment, unfavorable for business, a deterrent for tourism, costly to the taxpayer, and anti-social in behavior.
Can It! North Vancouver
Each year the North Shore Municipalities have a highly successful Clean-up Week usually in April corresponding with the National Clean-up Campaign during Earth Week. Let’s take that a step further and join with the many communities across Canada and conduct an ongoing program of litter clean-up.
